A different idea of a sleep mask: instead of cupping the eyes, it rests on them. Six channels of flaxseed give it 180 grams of even weight, which many people find slows them down at night in the way a weighted blanket does. Ten minutes in the fridge before bed and it is cool as well; a minute on a radiator and it is warm. The outer is washed linen, soft and dry against the skin.
Because it is filled with seed it cannot be washed; the lining is removable for a wipe but the mask itself must stay dry, and a wet mask has to be thrown away. It also blocks less light than the padded cotton, since it lies flat.
