If you buy one duvet from us, this is it. A 10.5 tog goose down fill is warm enough for a northern European winter in a heated bedroom and not so warm that you throw it off in May. Most of our reviews are for this duvet, and most of the complaints are from people who run hot and should have bought the summer weight.
The baffle-box shell has fabric walls between the top and bottom layers, so the down fills each chamber to its full height instead of being pinched at the seams. That is the difference between a duvet that looks plump in year one and one that still does in year eight. The baffle seams are what our five-year guarantee covers.
