Mostly feather with a little down for softness, this is the firm pillow your grandparents slept on: heavy, supportive and cheap. It suits people who like to feel something under their head and who punch a pillow into shape rather than letting it find one.
It is reduced against the price it carried all of last year because the next run will have the smoother cambric shell and this one has percale. Percale is a perfectly good down-proof weave; it is simply a little crisper to the touch. The quills are more noticeable than in a down pillow and you will hear them rustle slightly when you turn.
